
HSE Officer
Department: Project Management Department
Supervise site safety activities, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, safety procedures, and project requirements; monitor risk prevention, safety training, and accident control throughout construction works.
Responsibilities
- Supervise occupational safety and environmental hygiene at the construction site.
- Implement, monitor and supervise compliance with HSE regulations.
- Prepare safety plans and HSE procedures for the site.
- Conduct safety training, induction and daily safety reminders for workers and contractors.
- Inspect the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe working conditions.
- Identify, assess and propose preventive measures for safety hazards.
- Issue safety violation reports and follow up corrective actions.
- Coordinate with CSA, MEP teams and contractors on safety matters.
- Participate in accident investigations (if any) and prepare reports as required.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly HSE reports.
- Other works related to Supervision works.
Requirements
- College or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Labor Protection or related disciplines.
- At least 3 years of experience as HSE staff on construction sites.
- Holding valid occupational safety certificates as required by regulations.
- Good knowledge of occupational safety and environmental regulations.
- Good observation, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Honest, careful, highly responsible and able to work under pressure.
